John Monestere
Corporate Director of Food and Beverage and Regional Manager

In September 2005, John Monestere selected Marin Management to continue his career of more than 30 years in full-service hotels, fine restaurants and resorts. He previously was vice president of two hotel companies overseeing hotel operations in Los Angeles, Sacramento and California's Central Valley. Recently, Mr. Monestere was managing director of the Carlton Hotel in San Francisco, which Conde Nast magazine identified as one of the world's 500 best hotels while the hotel was under his leadership.

He was also director of restaurants for Banker's Trust corporate headquarters in New York, overseeing its high-volume executive dining room and up-scale café. Mr. Monestere was also assistant manager at the prestigious Waldolf-Astoria Hotel, New York.

He has considerable experience in hotel and restaurant operations, sales, marketing, and financial management. Mr. Monestere's management strengths include problem resolution that quickly serves Marin Management's clients. He has a strong human resources background and has a wealth of experience in employee motivation, guidance and training.
